Homeopathy is a truly holistic approach to health; one that emphasises people rather than diseases. Homeopathy recognises that each person responds uniquely to the forces of their heredity and environment. The total pattern of mental, emotional and physical alterations from health (symptoms) are the indications of the body's effort to defend and heal itself. In order to perceive , a very thorough case taking session is an essential cornerstone of Rachael’s practice. Using classical Homeopathic methods, Rachael seeks to discover the unique characteristics of each individual. Since homeopathy acts upon the constitution as a whole, when a person becomes well through homeopathy they find improvements in their overall health.
Rachael has experience as a tertiary lecturer and public and private teacher She is an active member of the Australian Homeopathic Association (AHA Inc.) Queensland branch. Reg Nurse; Reg Midwife; Child Health; BodyTalk Access Trainer (B.A.T); Certified BodyTalk Practitioner (CBP); Reiki Levels1 & 2
Elaine Nivison
Current membership: Qld Nurses Union (QNU); International BodyTalk Assoc (IBA)
Child Health Elaine is an experienced Child/Infant Health Nurse who has been assisting families in the Community setting for many years. In this role her focus has been working towards early identification and intervention for issues such as:
- Growth & development of babies & young children;
- Infant Feeding & or settling issues – the two are strongly interconnected in many cases;
- Managing ‘normal’ misbehaviour of children in general (including issues such as – Disobedience/Sleeping in own bed/Toddler Tantrums/accepting new babies etc)
Elaine is very conscious of having a ‘preventative’ focus. She likes to help families ‘anticipate’ potential issues ahead of time and therefore, where possible, ‘prevent or minimise’ the difficulties these issues may cause.
BodyTalk It is a natural progression therefore, that Elaine is able to offer Clients ‘BodyTalk’, as a stand alone treatment, or as part of other sessions. She is particularly excited in being able to bring the skills & knowledge from ‘both worlds’ to benefit parents, their children & significant others, on the many levels!
The BodyTalk System & the BodyTalk Access Program fits very well into the model of ‘prevention or minimisation’ & early intervention focus. This is one very important factor that excites Elaine in being able to offer both these aspects of BodyTalk to you & your family.
Elaine is constantly in awe (but isn’t ‘surprised’ anymore) of the benefits BodyTalk and BodyTalk Access provide clients, of all ages and even her animal clients! Changes can be very obvious or very subtle. In the latter it has been 6mths before a client suddenly realised ‘something had disappeared’ – in one case this was a debilitating ‘sciatica’ – once one issue ‘disappears’ we frequently ‘focus on another complaint’ without even realising!
