About Kinesiology

As a truly holistic therapy, Kinesiology combines the wisdom and healing of Eastern and Western techniques to restore balance and increase energy flow to all parts of the body. Drawing support from the Chinese system of acupuncture as well as Chiropractic theory, its effective results come from the way it works with the body’s ability to heal itself.

Kinesiology looks at the individual as a whole being and understands that to achieve a state of equilibrium, we need physical, emotional, mental and spiritual facets of our being to be in balance.

What results can I get with Kinesiology?

You will walk away with a deeper insight and understanding of why your body has been feeling the way it has, and what personal self-care steps are needed to guide your body back to balance. Profound changes are bound to take place when you develop a positive mindset and equip yourself with emotional balancing tools to support you in your healing journey.

How does Kinesiology work with muscle testing?

Kinesiology uses the gentle art of  ‘muscle testing’ to identify factors or stress that may be linked to energy imbalances in the body. By applying a range of gentle, yet powerful healing techniques, it improves health, wellbeing and vitality to the body.

Muscle testing, which uses muscles around the body to test for imbalances in the body, is a natural feedback system. It receives information via nerve pathways and the meridian system of the brain and body. Having access to this system allows a Kinesiologist to quickly determine a specific technique or strategy to return the body to a balanced state.

Kinesiology does not treat named diseases, nor does it diagnose them. Instead, it looks at the body’s imbalances and facilitates the flow of energy to begin the process of healing.

Where is Kinesiology practised?

In recent years, Kinesiology has become one of the fastest growing complementary therapies and has evolved into an outstanding health care system now practised in over 100 countries.
